Samarco is offering vacancies for free professional qualification courses for residents of Anchieta, Guarapari and Piúma (ES), through the Força Local program. Opportunities are for shielded metallic arc process, initiation into Mag process welding and industrial electrical maintenance. 56 vacancies are offered, distributed among the three areas, in partnership with the National Service for Industrial Learning (Senai). Applications must be submitted through Vagas.com portal by September 16th.
Those interested must have completed elementary school and be at least 18 years old. The selection process consists of an online test, interview and psychological assessment. The enrollment of selected candidates will be held between the 19th and 26th of September.
The shielded metallic arc process and Mag process welding initiation courses will have a workload of 80 class hours. These will be held at the Senai mobile unit, in Anchieta, in the evening and afternoon shifts, respectively. As for industrial electrical maintenance, 200 hours/class will be offered at the Senai unit in Anchieta (ES), at night. Classes will be held from Monday to Friday.
The training promoted through Força Local aims at qualifying people from the communities and territories where the company operates, boosting development and improvement of the technical knowledge of these professionals. The program aims at providing the socioeconomic development to the municipalities that where Samarco operates in Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo.
