Samarco informs that this Sunday (Sep-4), MG-129 highway will be temporarily closed at kilometer 113, close to the company's entrance gate, for lifting and assembly of a large structure. The interruption in traffic will initially occur from 8 am to 10:30 am. Next, the lane will be released between 10:30 and 11:30, when there will be a new traffic restriction - from 11:30 am to 01:00 pm. The assembly of the structure is part of the works to de-characterize the Germano dam and pit, which are at an advanced stage.
The ban is authorized by competent bodies and necessary for the safety of those traveling on the highway.
