The collapse of the Fundão dam is a milestone in our history, which we regret and will never be forgotten. We are aware of the complexity of the actions and we remain steady in our commitment to the affected people and to the environment, through the remediation and compensation actions performed by Renova Foundation, developed continuously since 2016. To date, more than BRL 24.73 billion were allocated for remediation, including compensation for over 403,000 people.
