Business Rounds

In July this year, Força Local's 4th business round was held in Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo. The virtual events were attended by 73 suppliers from various segments who had the opportunity to present and offer services and products to Samarco and the companies Hexágono, Século XXI, GR Serviços e Alimentação Ltda, Manserv, In Haus and Construtora Lage and Gomes. In all, there were 150 meetings in the two rounds.

“It was the first time I participated. I found this search for the development of local suppliers together with its partners to be an excellent initiative by Samarco as a way of boosting trade in the region. I believe that at least two food product suppliers will be serving us soon. In fact, in this business round we were also presented with other service companies that, as needed, will be contacted for price quotation”, stated Liliane Freitas Nunes from GR Serviços e Alimentação Ltda, who participated in the round in Minas Gerais.

Raphael Silva Alcides, co-owner of Clínica Lourdes, an occupational safety company located in Guarapari, highlighted that the initiative was productive and expanded the horizons for continuous improvement. “During the event I was able to present the company. This experience made me step out of my comfort zone and demonstrate a little more of my potential, both personally and for the clinic.”
