The initiative aims at strengthening the relationship with suppliers
Samarco received businessmen from Ouro Preto, Mariana, Santa Bárbara and Catas Altas (MG) at the Germano Complex, in Mariana, last Tuesday (May-09). The visit was arranged by Força Local to bring the entrepreneurs closer together and strengthen relations with the company. The general manager of Operations, João Calmon, and the general manager of Procurement, Ailana Vilela, participated in the meeting, which brought together 16 companies.
The operating-administrative manager of the Hotel Quadrado, Eduarda Coradi, highlighted the opportunity to get to know the unit and the benefits of participating in the activities of Força Local. “In 2022, I received an invitation from the program, through the Commercial Association of Santa Bárbara. It was the opportunity I needed. I met goals and developed myself as a professional, built networking. The hotel has been certified. The visit was a dream come true and a vision of a prosperous future for our region,” she said.
"Our idea is to increasingly strengthen partnerships and expand suppliers' knowledge of Samarco, opening up a range of opportunities for them to be better prepared to meet not only our demand, but the needs of other companies and segments," said the coordinator of Força Local, Elisangela Toledo.
At the end of April, the meeting was held at the Ubu Complex, in Anchieta, Espírito Santo, for suppliers from Anchieta, Guarapari and Piúma.
