Opportunities are for Mine Equipment Operators and applications are open until July 14th

Samarco launched, this Monday (Jun-19), the Trainee Program - Equipment Operators 2023, exclusively for women. There are 25 vacancies to work at Germano Complex, in Mariana (MG). Applications are open until July 14th at this link: https://vagas.com.br/v2531447.

The program is aimed at residents of Mariana, Ouro Preto, Antônio Pereira, Santa Rita Durão and nearby districts, expanding opportunities for people to work in the region where they live. To participate in the selection process, you must have a C or D National Driver's License and complete high school. Candidates will undergo an online test, interviews and psychological assessment. The projection is that the selected women will start activities in September of this year. To improve technical and professional skills, there will be a complete development program lasting 18 months.

“It is an opportunity for women, cisgender and transgender, to join us in the purpose of doing mining differently. This program aims at preparing them for the new position, in addition to promoting the professional development of residents of the host communities. We understand that actions like this cooperate for a fairer and more equitable society and reinforce our commitment to insert and develop people from minority groups in our company”, highlighted the general manager of Human and Organizational Development, Vera Lucia.

The Equipment Operator Trainee Program is among the actions developed under the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program (DE&I), created last year. The action is in line with the purpose of performing mining differently and linked to the ESG (environmental, social and governance) agenda.
