Fair has an exclusive stand for the Economic Diversification Support Plan

Samarco participated in the 2nd Mariana Economic Development Week, held at the city's Convention Center between the September 28th and 30th. The company is one of the sponsors of the event and made an exclusive stand available at the Business Fair for matters related to the Economic Diversification Support Plan (PADE) in Mariana and Ouro Preto.

“The event offers a broad program that contributes to discussions about the development of municipalities and is in line with our policy of supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening the local economy and economic diversification. It is an opportunity for visitors to get to learn about our actions”, said the Institutional Relations analyst at Samarco, Guilherme Louzada, during the opening of the fair.

The company also promoted training on the preparation of the PADE Action Plan for associations and institutions involved in the subject. During the meeting, which was part of the fair's program, mechanisms were discussed to boost the connection between the municipalities of Mariana and Ouro Preto.
